As jimlanner did for the first round, I start this topic for the 2nd round since ESSEC announced first round short-listed results for the MSc program.
My profile:
Swedish
GPA: don't really know.. around 3 I guess...
GMAT: 650 Q45 V35
TOEFL : 108
Worked boths in banks and consulting firms mostly summer internships though. I presume my references were strong.
What about you guys? Why did you choose ESSEC?
I'm now waiting for the interview!

Hey there! I am shortlisted as well.
I'm Taiwanese, GPA 3.7 , GMAT 720 (Q48, V40), Russian language major.
I chose essec mainly because i thought the program they offer is rather flexible.
Have you had the interview yet?
I am still waiting for mine. fingers crossed!

hi there,
i have my interview on thursday - going to paris for it so I'm quite excited to see the campus.
my gmat was 710, gpa around 3.5-3.8 i guess?! but not sure. i like essec because the courses are very flexible and i'd love to get into brand management.
i hope the interview goes well...! have you got your dates yet?

Good luck!! I asked if people usually come to Paris and they said that they usually don't do Skype interviews - that's why I'm going there. I had an interview with ESADE which was in London, I got an admit from them so am a bit more relaxed about ESSEC. I applied to HEC but was dinged without interview. Also applied to HSG in St Gallen but haven't heard anything yet. You?

I'll have the interview via Skype on Thursday, 1 PM.
ESADE is a great option. congrats on that!
Personally, I applied for HEC, ESCP... too through SAI r2, and just had the interview 2 weeks ago.

Which Schools have you had interviews with yet? Good luck on Thursday!! Hope it goes well for both of us! I wanted to apply to escp as well but when I called them they said their application only opens in April - I wonder how you managed to apply already?!? I must have missed something. I've been accepted for the cems programme at esade as well so it's an amazing option. I'll see how essec goes... Maybe they won't take me then I don't have to make the decision! hmm... I applied to ESCP through SAI, a selection for entry into master in management program only. So basically I had only one interview arranged by SAI for 5 schools. I wonder if we are applying for the same program?

hi guys
I am an indian, i got 610 in gmat with 48 in quant and 26 in verbal.
i scored 83% in 10th, 88.25% in 12th, i have completed BSC(HONS) PHYSICS with 71%. I have 2 years part-time work ex in sales and marketing during college. i am a national level academic scholarship holder and pretty descent in co-curricular. I just to know whether i have chance in ESSEC as my score is not that good.
