Thanks shadowsjc. For those still waiting for NYU, I just got an invite for an interview. There weren't too many options for dates but i'll be flying out next month for it. I kind of wish it was sooner.

Congrats!

Did you apply R1 or R2?

Yes to that! Cant wait. They told me that Fellowships will be awarded in March. And for me, March seems like ages away! lol. Am sure this waiting/suspense thingy is messing with my mind on so many levels

Hi everyone. First and foremost best of luck. I was wondering has anyone from round 2 heard anything yet? I applied on the 4th and haven't heard anything yet, kind of worried. Obviously my low GPA does not help and makes me very nervous! Also, is there a way to verify that everything from your application, specifically official transcripts, was received? I sent mine in on time, but the postal service here in Puerto Rico is notoriously bad. I saw some earlier threads that the status on the online application changes from 'submitted' to 'sent to schools.' Any validity to that? Thanks

I'd call the Consortium. They will log into thier system and verify that all is well. I applied R1 and did just that. I dont remember if the online system indicated the status, but maybe it did. But I called. Good luck.

Dli,

For what it is worth, the Consortium informed me that they had not received my interview transcript or masters transcript about ten days after I submitted - and both my interviewer and school had logged records of sending these items out. If you have not received a "we are missing" email by now, I am sure you are fine. They were quite good about contacting me and giving me time to re-send these items. As far as not hearing anything, 18 days would be a mighty quick turnaround.

Good luck on the applications.

Congratulations to you, I appreciate you sharing your story and best of luck going forward. I have a low GPA which I have worked toward overcoming, but not sure if I will get in.

dli - i wouldn't worry too much about your GPA. a low GPA is like a low GMAT - it's just one data point in your application; as long as other parts are strong, you still have a good chance of getting in somewhere. you have a strong GMAT score; as long as your essays conveyed passion for the consortium's mission, then i think you'll get in

Hi all! I'm so happy that I have found the sole Consortium thread on the net :-) I applied R2 to Ross and NYU and am anxiously waiting, like most of you, for interview invitations. Has anyone applied R2 and received an interview invite yet? Good luck everyone!!

Thanks shadows. We'll see how it goes. I am hoping that is true, I have five years WE and have worked in NYC, abroad and am now down here in Puerto Rico. Send some rays y'alls way. For those that interviewed with a Consortium Alumni, how were your interviews? I just wanted to say that the individual I interviewed with was extremely helpful, actually looked over my essays, and gave me feedback and met with me on an additional ocassion to just go over essays. Showed to me that the consortium's mission is life long, anyone else have similar experiences? Best.

Hello Dli1981, wow at your Consortium interview experience. Mine was with an adcom member at Emory and it was the worst interview I've ever had!!! It was stale and sterile! I later called and noted my concerns - which ended up on my app file - and ended up Dinged at Emory (2nd choice cuz of the interview experience) as well as at Stern (4th) but got into my first choice Kelley and third Washu(yet to recv my packet or schorlie info). So dont worry too much. Your profile sounds very good and try to stay optimistic. You'd do great! Did you apply to some back-up schools too?

not sure if other school send something like this, but Darden sent me an email telling me that they're beginning to receive the CGSM applications and will send me a log in to check my application progress. i wonder if other schools will do something similar.

Yea, I got something similar from YaleSOM, Stern, and Olin. No word yet from USC or Ross. Everyone seems to be moving at the rate of molasses..... :(
