Waitlisted. Is it just me, or were there a lot of waitlist notifications that went out before Friday?

Did any waitlisters receive feedback from Bruce or anyone else? Although I'm pretty sure it's my quant scores, I still wrote asking for feedback for what I need to do to improve my application. Haven't heard back.

Nink or anyone else currently at SOM:
Can you comment on a typical schedule/workload for a first year student? I'm not planning on doing this, but does anyone work part time while enrolled? Just trying to get a sense for what the intensity of the program is like.
Thanks. By the way, first time poster - Accepted to Yale SOM in Round 2, but still deciding.

I am not aware of anyone from my class who is working PT during his or her MBA but it certainly is possible. I know a couple of people who runs their own business while they are in bschool.
Curriculum wise, there will be times where you will be overloaded with course work and there will be times when course load might be light. It depends on what you are taking and how well you are grasping new concepts. Cases and certain projects do take a lot of time but in general, it's not course work that will take big part of your day...it's recruiting stuff, club meetings, extra curricular activities, networking, and other social activities.

Is anyone going to Bulldog Days, two weekends from now? I just saw the form, and it asked if I want to be hosted by a current student. Are people doing that? I've been to New Haven so many times, but can't, for the life of me, remember if there are places to stay right by campus.
Also, am I the only one who is factoring pizza quality into his final school decision?

I applied in Rd 3 as well. I might be getting my rejection very soon, so who knows how long I'll be in this thread.

Received interview invite today. Plan on registering it as soon as I figure out when I can get a day off for work - but want to do it asap. Good luck to you guys on getting interviews. I am sure that they will go out over a few days/weeks like the other rounds so dont sweat it just a few hours after one invitation got extended.

No, I still haven't received my enrollment materials either. I was starting to wonder about that. I'm right in Boston to, so it shouldn't take that long for them to make it to me from New Haven...

For Bulldog days I was planning to wear dress pants and a dress shirt on Friday and sweatpants and a Nascar t-shirt on Saturday (just kidding). But from the schedule it does look like business casual on Friday and casual on Saturday Anyone know differently or how people dressed in previous years?

Dressy clothes are preferred for some planned events, while for other "fun" events, you can take a dark denim jean and wear dress shirt tucked out and etc. And yes, sweatpants are no-no's. :D
