I actually didn't interact too much- after initially selecting to stay on the wl, I followed up with a single email addressing WL Concerns and reiterating my interest in the program.
Best of luck! Thanks for the response, much appreciated! I wonder if there are anymore WL decisions going out in the coming weeks or if that was it. I have to imagine if they extended WL acceptances on Friday (and we saw two of such in GMAT club) if we extrapolate this, that means there were probably close to 10 - 15 in total. This is not good news if typically only about 30 are accepted off of the waitlist, much less so if combined with the general assumption that enrollment is up (per FT). Bummer. . .

ntenzer, I'm in the same boat as you. Last I had heard was that they'd be reviewing the waitlist this week and beyond, so we can only hope that more decisions will come.

CyberC1: Yes, actually saw your question to the AdCom on the SOM message board. There was little guidance in the response so good luck with the lease, all of these ancillary logistical concerns only add to the tension of waiting.
LetMeIn2012: Good to hear, I actually have had similar contact, so it's good to hear I'm at least on the right track. Congratulations on your admittance, really is a great accomplishment. Here's hoping on my end, fingers crossed!
Congratulations to the admits and good luck to all on the waitlist. . .
cheers!

congrats to all the recent admits. there's an ongoing thread in the business school life subforum for admitted students that you may want to check out: admitted-to-yale-som-class-of-2012-thread-92063.htmlit contains some useful info for admits, and there should also be links to the facebook and google groups.

Looking at the roll call page, only 1 out of the 12 applicants who applied through the Consortium got admitted! Does anyone out there feel that there is a disadvantage to applying through the Consortium?

Unfortunately not. Almost seems to be a lost cause.

Did anyone get an email from Yale in the first week of May asking whether the candidate was still interested in staying on the waitlist ?

In the ding letter Yale offrered to give some feedback on rejected applications in june 2010. Did anyone here send an email to have a feedback on his/her app?
I would like to request a feedback, but I don't really know how to word the email...

I would like to request a feedback, but I don't really know how to word the email... This is common. Just contact the admissions office (via phone or email), explain to them that you applied in the past year and was not admitted. You are very interested in pursuing your bschool education and you would like to get a feedback on your application so you can improve on your weaknesses etc etc.

Has anyone heard anything regarding the waitlist? I haven't and the assumption is that we're still on it...

can anyone share some insight into the Organizational Perspectives courses for first year? It sounds really interesting - is it all team based or individual based per role in a big team?

I just got in off the waitlist! They called today.
With regards to my waitlist action - I sent an e-mail reiterating my desire to go there shortly after my decision in May (I applied Rd 3) and adressed any issues i thought they might have had with my application. They replied then saying I was waitlisted only due to the limited number of spots not due to any weakness in my app.
