Received an email from Tuck, nd my heart skipped a beat

Thank you for applying to the Tuck School of Business. Admission decisions will be available at 5:00PM EST on Friday, February 13, 2012. On that date, you will see a link to view your online decision letter when you log on to your application account.

Did anyone else receive such mail?

Hey, I got the same email... Not sure if this is a good thing or not.
This is weird cuz Feb 13th is not Friday but Monday. Do you think they meant to say Feb 10th, Friday?

If there is a group of Nov Round applicants who did not get this email, this could possibly be a sign of some sort... i dunno...

I got it too and had the same reaction. My guess is it's an automated email sent out across the board. Good luck next week all!

Got the same mail....i guess everybody recived it. I hope is no indication of anything. the date should be Feb 10 right? Should we expect phonecalls???

Did Early action applicants received the same mail?

I saw a lot of reports that the EA applicants got the same e-mail about a week before decision day and those who got the e-mail get accepted. I think Feb 13th may be Feb 10th. Anyway, the next week will be like hell...

The release date is Feb 10th, I have just confirmed it on their website.

I second the question. Should we expect calls? I also got the same e-mail and freaked out for a moment as well.

The release date is Feb 10th, I have just confirmed it on their website.

most probs we ll get our results on 10th

Hey Guys,

A silly question. The accepted candidates would still be receving a selection call a day or 2 before the notification date just like other schools OR all the candidates will know about their fate only on 10th.

I am pretty confident, based on earlier thread activity, accepted students (especially in the US), will get calls just before the decision date, up to, and including the decision date.

Tuck Admissions clarified on BTG that this e-mail got sent to everyone. Guess this e-mail has no indication other than their interviews are over for Nov round

I gotta say that of all the admission offices that I have called -- Tuck has got to have the friendliest and most receptive people ever.

That said I hope they invite me to interview (didnt get a chance to do a self initiated interview) -- but I am visiting on the 15th.
