Put me on the "other" list, I'm planning on applying for the class of 2013.

I agree that they aren't blatantly letting unqualified women in, but I do think it at least acts as a tiebreaker if a qualified male and female were pitted against each other.

Since we are applying to similar schools I am hoping we can help improve the numbers of GMATClub women at h/s/w  Good luck with you R1 apps, are you doing all three in R1?

Would certainly be nice! Yes, I'm doing all of my apps R1. Submitted HBS on Monday and Wharton this AM - feels GREAT to have those off my plate.

How about you?

I am taking things slowly and trying to do my best with every app. I took my HBS app through hell and back with revisions and had several alumnae friends read through essays for advice, etc. As a result I am really happy with what came out (also exhausted). I will do Wharton and Emory with the same approach for R2, this way I have no regrets as to what I could have done better (plus I'm not in a rush). Thinking of dropping Stanford for family reasons.

That sounds like a great plan. I know how you feel about HBS. I killed myself on HBS and Stanford, and as a result, I was not quite as happy with the Wharton result. You may have made the better decision by not rushing to get it in if you aren't yet happy with the end product!

Good luck... now begins the long wait until the end of the month when we hear about those HBS interviews!

I hear the interviews may be announced in the third week of the month. 20 days are a fairly short time, I wonder how the HBS adcom would pull that off.

Re: Calling all Female MBA Applicants [#permalink]
I'm down for whenever, MBAgirl2010. How about next week? Since not everyone can log in from work, how about we say 8 or 9pm EST (that way folks on the west coast can join too). If there is interest from applicants in Europe/Asia, etc perhaps we can schedule something over the weekend?

Hi! Count me in too :-D

I still have to finish up my re-take for my GMAT, and after that, hopefully I'll be sending out apps for R1 and R2. I'd love to go to Sloan

Good luck everyone!
