Calling all future Chief Information Officers [#permalink] New post 28 Aug 2010, 10:39
Hi,

The subject says it all : My long term goal is to become a CIO with a Multinational corporation. A CIO blends technology and business. He/she uses technology as a strategic asset and looks at ways to use IT to improve business.

The following are my picks for R1 : MIT, Haas, Kellogg.

All these schools have good Technology Management Programs and hence are my picks for R1.

My Background :

Undergrad : Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
WE : Total - 10 years. 8 years as a Business Analyst and Project Leader for an IT consulting firm working at the intersection of business and technology at a tactical level.
GMAT : 720
Decent extra curriculars.

Let me know your thoughts and what you think about my chances.

Thanks,
P
