Where can we find the essays for the 2011-12 season for Gatech? The application portal seems archaic and won't let me go to the second page untill i have uploaded the needed documents on the first page.. Any suggestions? Thanks.
i had the same problem. I got the essay questions when I sat in on a virtual tour/ info session. there is a PDF file on the website for reaaplicants. the essays are the same:
respond to each question no longer than 1 typed page: 1. if you could host a dinner party and invite any 4 people, either dead or alive, whom would you invite and what would the five of you discuss together? there is no right answer concerning the dinner guests, rather we want you to. e creative and thoughtful in your response.
2. describe how your experiences, both professional a d personal, have led you to the decision to pursue an MBA at ga tech. how does this decision relate to your future career goals?
3. optional typical anything you want to add that's not covered essay. unique aspects or perceived weaknesses

Hey rasta, I belong to the toughest applicant pool i.e the pool of 'Indian IT male'
My GMAT and TOEFL are reasonably good but not great. GMAT : 700 & TOEFL : 109 I have over three years of leadership experience. Had been to USA twice for project transitions. Again reasonably good acads but very good extraw curricular activities.
How about you ? btw, have you applied for Oxford as well? if so, in which round ? and what is the final status? I have applied in R2 and my interview is scheduled on March 12th at Delhi( India )

Haha. Yeah, it's tough if you're an IIT, but your profile seems par for the course, and it'll be your background, experience, and goals that make or break your case, not to mention how you handle the interview Having got the interview call means that the schools think you're good enough, and just want to validate that in the interview. I decided not to apply this season, and am now looking at matriculating in 2013.
