DecisionTime: You mentioned your Wharton + full tuiton vs HBS dilemma. Do you have considerable savings, or will inherit soon? If no, I'd say go for Wharton without giving it a second thought.

I'm not sure what qualifies as "considerable" savings. I have personally saved some since I started working but I do not have a trust fund or a large inheritance.

Appreciate the advice. If I get in, it will be a tough decision.

The best thing to do is simply wait and see if you get into HBS. They might make your HBS/Wharton decision quite an easy one

I know, I know. However, I do think it is fair to assume that there is a 60% chance that I get into HBS (the admit rate post-interview). And, my HBS application and interview were stronger than Kellogg and Wharton. So, more likely than not to get in.

Probably over-thinking this and should wait to see what April 6th brings.

Very nice problem to have, probably couldn't go very wrong with either decision i.e. Wharton w/ $$ or HBS w/o $$. I am leaning towards Wharton because you still get a strong brand but you get it for free. But, it really depends on what you want to do post-MBA and whether you feel it will be easier to attain at Wharton or at HBS. If I you are going into finance, I say take Wharton.

Why isn't this thread presently crawling with people to obsess over our impending HBS doom/salvation?

I feel stoic at this point---"what's inevitable will be inevitable." I'm a R1 waitlister (after interview). Looking at the numbers (and my own), I'm not sure how great my chances are going to be tomorrow. I'd love to get in, but I also don't really want my hopes to come crashing down either. So I'm going in with some caution at this point.

AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stress I didn't experience prior to Wharton and Stanford decisions has caught up with me (and then some). This is no fun.

Where do you go if you get into both HBS and Wharton?

Ladies & gentlemen, as we approach D-Day, I would like to wish you all good luck and best wishes on your decision tomorrow. Hopefully the apprehension and stress is bearable, and even if we don't get the news we would like, keep your heads up and keep fighting for your dreams until you physically can't fight anymore.

I was waitlisted in round 1. Decisions come out when it will be 10:30 pm in India.

Chances are low with them taking 30 out of maybe 300...yet, I gotta feeling...

9:30PM India time, in fact! :)

Good luck to all you guys.

I've got Black-Eyed Peas on non-stop play right now to make myself believe that tonight will in fact be a good night.

I thought decisions come out 9:30pm IST...or is the waitlist schedule different from the R2 applicant schedule?
