Congratulations to those who have been selected.

Unfortunately, I got a reject :(
When I mailed adcom to get feedback, they responded with standard mail that this year is very competitive and they can't provide individual feedback.

However, I am trying to find out reasons for my failure.

My profile :
Indian IT male 5 years exp on commencement
GMAT : 600, 700( 2nd attempt), AWA : 4.0
Extra currics : Average

Can you please help me by sharing your profiles or PM me.

Thanks.

Hi all!

Sorry to hear about your fate saby007--looking at your stats it's hard to say what went wrong. Your demographic--Indian/IT--may be quite competitive at Kelley, especially since they're so strong in IT, and since so many Indian applicants have such amazing GMAT scores (I've read that the average for Indian applicants is 740).

I applied R2 and got an admit e-mail today. No word about schollies until the letter comes. As for the question why the forum here isn't as active as some others, I have the same question. Its really too bad! I personally am very excited about Kelley and can't wait to visit Bloomington. Everyone I met from Kelley seemed so genuinely happy--smart, honest, kind, team-oriented. I think they're a wonderful group of people and although my final decision isn't made I'd be honored to join the network. It does seem that Kelley is a little young and on the rise--some big steps forward this year (#1 in classroom experience for pete's sake) should keep the trend going.

Hope to meet you all at the admit weekend in April!

Hi again,

I found the Kelley forum on BW: http://forums.businessweek.com/n/pfx/fo ... &tid=78497

It's hard to find because people are posting about all rounds under the title Kelley priority round (Jan-15)

I'm planning on applying in Fall for matriculation in Fall 2010. Question... for someone who wants to eventually work in California or Texas, how difficult is it to make my way back from Kelley? I'd want to do brand management / marketing / online marketing after bschool. I'm not opposed to doing 2 years at a big CPG company in the mid-west for the training, but 3 years after bschool I want to be back where it's warm! :-D

Anyone who has done so / is in the progress of doing so, can you share your experiences?

Thanks!
