I just went in and checked the status of the application. There was a link at the bottom of the page saying a decision had been made. Link led to a 'denied' letter. I was not informed via email.

I apologize. Ill be more clear: I recieved an email indicating that a decision has been made. I had to login to webpage for the decision. I knew immediately that i was likely rejected because i never recieved a phone call.

Can anyone shed some light on Rice's notification timing? Do they inform everyone at the same date if one is admitted/denied? I applied R2 and interviewed 01/23.

From the looks of it, they make acceptance calls beginning today, with an official notification going to everyone else on the 1st. I'm not exactly sure but that seems to be the trend.
