Congratulations to those admitted in R1. Now is R2. I submitted early Dec after two months of crafting essays. hope for the best. LBS is so important to me, really really want to get in!! I have slightly lower than average GMAT, but hopefully my 8-year long international experiences across asia-pacific and top-tier IB working experience can offset my not good GMAT. I am a Chinese btw.  )))

Hi Cools, I have been tracking my offer pack online. I should receive it in two days. As for the portal login details - I have no news to report from my side. Is there a facebook/linkedin group to join for those of us that are set on LBS at this point? cools wrote: kewl!

I have been eagerly waiting to hear from LBS about offer pack and portal login. Haven't heard anything yet! When and how were you informed about offer pack dispatch? I'm guessing you are located in Europe/US. Didn't find any LBS MBA 2014 facebook group.. Congratulations to all the R1 admitts!! Great Xmas present for all of you.
For the waitlisted candidates, don't loose hope. I was waitlisted myself and it is a painful wait, but it might payoff in the end.
Anybody from Latam accedpted (especially ARG)?

Inside LBS Admissions Office - What happens when you click that "submit" button?David Simpson, LBS associate director of marketing and admissions - Similar to many other business schools, we also follows a staged admissions application process, however, our process runs over a fairly long season. Our Round One deadline is in the month of October, and we made offers in December. Our final round deadline is towards the end of April, and these offers are made in July. Although we do expect applicants to do a lot of research about the school, which takes time as well as effort (and often included a campus visit at some stage of this process), we also recognize that candidates' professional and personal circumstances can change quickly, thus affecting their application submission time. Once the applications are submitted through our online platform, they are downloaded after the admission deadline, printed out and additional documentations are added. I received my offer pack today. Now it doesn't mention anything on whether or not I have received any scholarship. Does it mean that I have not been selected for automatic scholarship (wherein we need not apply) or we will be getting details on the portal or at a later date through some email?
Can anybody throw some light on this?

i think scholarship info will be in the packet, so if its not in there its not available. I believe LBS to be on the lower end of programme's that offer $$$ though

Hi psclimate, I received an email from the LBS scholarships committee yesterday. I was selected for an automatic scholarship with the option of applying for other scholarships. As you can only be the recipient of one award the larger of the two will apply. psclimate wrote: Hi Guys !!

Hi cools, You should receive an email from the admissions office with a DHL tracking code.
