June scholarship are so called ambassadorial scholarships which are awarded to exceptional candidates. To apply to those scholarships you need to submit an essay, typically explaining why you would be a good LBS ambassador, deadline is the first week of June with decisions released 2-3 weeks after the deadline... Any R1 admits can shed some light on the background check process at LBS? What company does LBS employ to conduct such verification? I need to inform my current employer so they can grant access to the appointed third party company.

Is that true that only a very small number of candidates are invited to reapply in this way?
