FYI - Sloan Tech Trek

100 MIT Sloan Students Visit Silicon Valley:

Despite the recession and California's slumping economy, more than one-hundred MBA students made a "Tech Trek" to the South Bay in search of jobs and new technology

I missed the Sloan accepted.com chat this afternoon (was stuck in a meeting) and transcripts take a while to be posted. Does anyone have a log by any chance, or who was in chat and can share some useful tidbits? ;)

I would appreciate this as well.

Sengupta, late recommendation letters will not disqualify, but it will put your application at the bottom of the list for review.

Hi,

There is question in the application :

"If invited for an interview, in which city would you prefer to be interviewed? (Interview locations will not be finalized until after each application deadline.)".

There is no place mentioned in India and I am not sure what needs to be mentioned. Any suggestions ?

Also, there was no calculus subject per say but we had Mathematics in 4 semesters. So I am wondering which one to mention.

In the latest chat with Jennifer Burke, she had mentioned that we need to mention High School Calculus score.

Long time lurker. I'm in as well.

Does anyone know when MIT has traditionally sent out interview invites for R2?

Sign me in. I'm about to submit.

Quick question:
Does (500 words or less, limited to one page) means single space graphs? What about the cover letter, did you included Rod Garcia's address and such?
Thanks!

Yes, 500 words is approximately one single-spaced page. I included Rod's address and formatted it like a normal business letter. However, I only included the body of the letter in my word count.

Good luck!
