Same situation here. Just called the admissions office and they claim that interview invitations are still being sent out so keep your fingers crossed. Im praying that there is still some hope!

I got an interview invite late yesterday. Applied 1/15.. F / international / 5 years WE PE / liberal arts I also have a question... Can anyone (particularly current students) comment on how emails in support of a candidate from current students/alumni are received by AdCom? I saw the following from a Q&A published in BusinessWeek, but it was back in 2005, so I'm not sure how these emails are perceived now. Thanks! Q: Does it help if an alumnus writes a recommendation? Figured I would join the forum with my status. GMAT of 730, 5-6 yrs. work experience. Application submitted on 1/14, invited to interview on 2/23, interviewed on 3/11. Currently munching on antacids and waiting for final word. It will be two weeks this Thursday.

Accepted! My first- feels good. 29/720 (46Q 42V)/3.6 undergrad/3.8 grad. Applied R2 deadline, interviewed 3/16, accepted 3/24. Waiting to hear on finances but I could very well be matriculating...

I called the office just a few mins ago. They said they will continue to give interviews up until April 1. one thing i is certain though that are situation is definately dicey. The people who get interviews now will miss admit weekend and given how stern is all about community, they would want their admits or potential admits to experience that I think. Also, since they have rolling admissions process, spots are being filled up as we speak so even if we do get an interview, we will be competing for fewer spots.
Despite all that though, getting an interview at this point would mean that you have a serious chance so I am still hoping/praying for one. Hope you get one too! Please do provide an update if you get word.

I have been a silent observer on this thread for the past month or so and finally decided to join today after receiving the admit from Stern! It came only a few hours after the Booth rejection, which made it even more sweeter!

I just started using this forum more actively so I thought I'd give an update on my status if it helps ease some nerves for those who haven't heard anything? I submitted on R2 deadline, pretty much assumed ding by now....but out of the blue this morning I received an interview invite (quite surprised!), and the available dates are all after their R2 notification date.

Thanks. My interview was several months ago, but it was an incredibly positive & straightforward experience. Definitely know your application inside & out to make sure that you align what you say in the interview to what you've said in the essays. Definitely be prepared to show that you love Stern and why you love Stern. There's a lot of interview advice throughout this thread--I'd definitely browse it and see what you can learn.
