Heartiest congratulations to the folks receiving an invite. Did you guys get any email in addition to the notes acknowledging your application submission and your actual invite?

the only email I recieved so far is this:

"Dear XXX...

Thank you for submitting your application to NYU Stern!

Your application fee payment must be received in order for your application to be processed.

Please note:

​The Admissions Committee will begin reviewing applications after the October 15 deadline. Initial notifications will begin in November and continue on a rolling basis according to the deadline for which you applied.

Your application cannot be reviewed until all application components have been received. If any items are missing, you will be notified via the application status page.

​You may check the status of your application at any time on the application status page...."

Have you paid your application fee?


Yes, right at the time I submitted the application. Also, all items have a green check mark and says "received " on my application status page

Received an interview invite this afternoon!

I was invited to interview during the Stern Women in Business, which I would love to attend, but it is not until February and I would like to know my admission decision sooner rather than later. I also have the option of just scheduling an interview through the regular process.

Has anyone received the same thing?

Has anyone here NOT have their video submission viewed yet? I don't believe they have viewed my youtube submission yet, but it is hard to confirm because I've had a number of views from friends over the weeks (though the analytics all track them as coming from California, which is where I'm from).

This graph will automatically get updated when a person updates his/her GMATCLUB applicant status to "invited to interview". Thus, I ask all the people who get any sort of a decision (ding or interview invite) to please update the status on their respective applicant pages.

Uh, I just went to check on my application status and it says my account doesn't exist O_O

I have my confirmation e-mail and CC charge bill e-mail, so I don't know what the heck happened.

Did you try resetting your password? Make sure you are using the correct email ID (the one that you used to create your application). Recheck it with the ID listed on the confirmation email (just to besure). If all this does not work, speak with or send an email to the admissions.

Yup, found out the account was in "does not exist" state by trying password reset. E-mailed the Adm. Chair address in my confirmation e-mail to find out what's going on, so we'll see.

I didn't even recieve a charge bill email, even though my application status page says payment received. What does a charge bill email look like? I'll also have to email admchair just to make sure they do have my completed application.

I was notified about a week ago that I had been offered an interview at Stern, and to give myself time to prepare and learn more about it, I scheduled it for the middle of December. (I live in NYC and can be flexible about what date I choose.) But I just realized that since admissions are rolling, it might be wise to interview earlier to increase my chance of admission. Is this the case, or does the rolling aspect of admissions only apply to the application itself?

Does the Stern application have a concept of "Application Complete date [_]"?

The application says application submitted on [_] but no additional confirmation about completion. Wondering if i'm missing something.

Any thoughts?

For those of you who have received an interview invite, did you guys submit your application very early before the deadline? I submitted about a day before it was due, I'm hoping that's the reason I haven't heard back yet...or possibly dinged. This is a frustrating grrr!

I'm guessing some more will come out tonight. Looks like they started coming out mid-November last year, but a lot of invites didn't go out until closer to the Dember 15 deadline, so we might be waiting a bit longer...

Yes, it is better to interview earlier as well. There is a balance since you want to make sure you are properly prepared, but I wouldn't recommend waiting too long. You could reschedule and interview earlier. You shouldn't need anywhere near a month to prepare. Contact me if you want to have a mock interview.
