For those of you who were accepted, how long after the email acceptance did you receive the packet in the mail and what is included in the packet.

Thanks

thanks for the feedback whirlwind and kickinback.

originally, the whole video was actually supposed to be short commercials for each product that i incorporated. every brand i showed off in the video are CPG companies that hire out of NYU so i was hoping that they caught that.

my whole concept around essay 3 was to be more light-hearted and funny. the other ones i saw on youtube put me to sleep and i felt they were just resumes in either powerpoint or video form.

definitely good points and duly noted for next time.

Congratulations to those that were admitted, and to those that didn't quite make it best of luck with your other applications. If anyone has any questions about Stern or needs to be persuaded to come, drop me a line.

A week later. But that was due to the delay in it getting to Europe and then my being out when they first tried to deliver. It was sent the same day as the email though so I guess it is a question of how far that letter physically has to travel.

Contents were the same as the above - acceptance letter, scholarship letter, background check info.

for those who got in with a scholarship, did the email/notification online tell you about your scholarship or did you first find out about it through the letter in the acceptance package?

R1 applicant here. Got waitlisted last Thursday. Not sure what to make of it being so late. I want to think I was on the cusp of an interview invitation, but I could just as easily been on the cusp of a ding.

Dude, your background looks strong, how did u get wait listed?
Is there any chance to get a scholarship from them if they accept you after waitlist?

I hope I am still eligible for scholarships, though I have to assume the window is closing there.

re: how did I get wait listed? Check out the profiles of Stern admits, even those in this thread. My GPA is definitely lower than average (though I went to a strong undergrad institution), and my GMAT is right at the median. My work experience is probably above average, and I believe my essays were solid, although these areas are very difficult to assess. All things considered, I'm realistically right in the middle. Really want the interview so I can articulate my case in person, so I am exploring ways to stay on adcom's radar while in limbo.

Good luck to all those waiting. What a brutal process...

Does anyone know what is the percentage of acceptance on the waitlist people?, Is there any statistics available?...Totally agree, it's brutal process

I am feeling very dangerous about my application right now after i see you got waitlisted.
I only applied 2 schools so far, and im thinking of applying more in R3.
Does anyone know which schools will take R3 applicants under scholarship consideration?

Thanks

I applied R2, 3 days before the deadline, and I received my invitation to interview on Feb 1.

I am travelling to NYC tomorrow for my interview on Thursday - anyone have any tips? I know many things have been addressed in this thread, but I would like some highlights. (Do you interview with Admissions Rep or Current Student, What are the nature of their questions etc).

Also, how soon after your interview does Stern typically notify you of acceptance/WL/Denial?

Best of Luck to everyone in Round 2!

I have stayed quiet but I'm a R1 applicant from Canada and still haven't heard anything. I'm not sure where my application is at. No news seems like a good news though. They must be debating whether to do whatever they plan to do. Keeping my fingers crossed.

How many R2 invites have gone out already? I'm hoping not many!
Does Stern have a deadline for getting all the invites out or is it more of a random rolling basis thing?
