So nice to hear from a fellow Canadian!!! I live in Vancouver (home of the best hockey team in the world....)

I really loved your video - it seems like you have a lot to offer the Stern community. I know it's not any fun playing the waiting game, but I think alot about this timing is random. I received my interview invite on February 1st (R2 applicant - submitted on Jan 9), but many of my friends have not heard anything yet, so you're not alone.

Let us know as soon as you hear anything - I would love to be around another Canadian this fall!

Hey Guys, I am yet another Canadian and interviewed at Stern this weekend. Very positive experience with a member of the admissions team who actually conducted a tour I went on when I visited the school in the fall.

yeah that is a cool video.

seeing how radically different your profile is from mine highlights the difficulty adcoms have comparing applicants with different backgrounds. apples to oranges.

Do you mind telling us about your interview experience, what questions etc. Also, did you have to send a thank you card/ email?

Any one who got an off-site interview in any place in India apart from Mumbai? Did anyone get Delhi? Can you please also share the date for your interview.

Hi Guys,

Any US applicants still waiting for interview invites in R2?
I havent heard anything from them yet. But if you look at last year, the last interview invite was sent on 3/11/2011. Does that mean I have a higher chances of getting a Ding?

I am an applicant from Delhi, but the off-campus interview is only in Mumbai I believe for Indians. My interview date is 12th March. What's yours?

I have a question. I recieved an interview invite yesterday (round 2). I will be on NY on Monday but there are no options to interview that day. I wrote the adcom and asked them if there was any chance to interview on monday afternoon. I have not recieved an answer. Now I am worried this might backfire. I love Stern. The only problem is I am an international applicant and it is very hard and expensive for me to go back to NY. Any thoughts?

@pep85: if you really can't make the trip back, I suggest you give Adcom a call tomorrow. Dont't worry, I'm sure they'll understand that it's not too easy to schedule an interview when you're overseas.

Hahah Thanks a lot. Actually I just joined a group of investors in a, Energy Startup. I do need other financial hard skills and strategic management concepts. Stern really fits my needs….
On the other hand, I just received an email from the Adcom opening a spot for me. I am really happy with Stern. The Adcom is great…

Hi..Congrats on the interview..Is this an alumni interview or is the Stern Adcom coming to India like they did last time?

I'm in the same boat. Adcom states it will be sending out invitations all the way up to early April. I submitted a couple of days before the deadline and haven't heard a thing.

I applied R2 and got an invite yesterday- for the summer start program. It's for people who have been out of school for a long time or who have low quant skills and high soft skills.
I was surprised and pleased to get an invite so late in the game.
I guess there is still hope! Best of luck to everyone who is waiting. I am so anxious to get this process over with.
