Well I had a Skype interview with a student ambassador. Questions were based on: 1 Career goals.. Professional and non-professional 2 Leadership skills developed at fisher 3 Conflict management 4 Failure as a group 5 Self motivation 6 Ethical dilemma 7 Passionate towards a goal It took around 40 minutes. Followed it with a question of my own. I think it went ok... Just keeping my fingers crossed. Posted from my mobile device

Hi, I just received an interview invite.
For those who have had Skype interviews - is the Video component compulsory? I have some connectivity and hardware issues that will be difficult to get around, so should I select a phone interview?
If it is a video interview, what is the protocol? Is a formal shirt enough or would a suit be better?

Even though it is skype it is still a face to face deal. well i think it is better to inform them about your connectivity issues. I did so for one university recently and we both worked out a solution, wherein the adcom member would contact me through skype. If they feel that the quality of the interview was getting affected, then they would call men on the phone. Hope this helps !

Though i submitted my app just after R1, i got an email saying -
" We process applications on a rolling admissions basis, meaning that we review and evaluate applications as they are submitted to our program rather than waiting until the deadline to begin the review process. Our next recommended guideline is December 15th. "
so i guess, i should know the status in another one to two weeks ! anyone who submitted in R2 here received a similar email ?

I am currently an analyst working in the healthcare sector (2 years) but have past internship experience in wealth management. I wanted an MBA to become more competitive in investment management. Fisher is a great school with great placement potential.

Just got done with my phone interview. The interviewer was a friendly adcom who asked me personalized questions conversationally and really made me feel comfortable. I thought it went well, but as usual - you never really know do you *Fingers crossed*
