Hi Everyone,

I'm a very untraditional candidate (Theater undergrad, work in Luxury Sales in Hospitality). I've started a blog on my experience of going to Tepper Biz School at CMU (studying for GMAT, pre-matriculation, first year, second year, etc). Would love to get some followers and input. I know when I was applying I felt like there was no one in a situation similar to my own, so maybe this could be of a resource to someone.

I applied for R3 too, hear nothing yet....Its been almost 20 days..I really wished that they can send me something to letting me their process. Those schools have already accepted me did not give me too much time to decide whether I accept the offer or not.



How much time do schools usually give to accept the offer ?

Don't give up hope yet. According to last year's thread, interview invites were sent out as late as April 11. I submitted mine on the 4th, by the way, but one of my references was late in submitting the letter of recommendation..

I wouldn't worry . . . I submitted on the last day of the 2nd round deadline and my application wasn't even updated to "complete" for over 2 weeks! (I am most proud, though, of the timing of my MIT application, which I submitted literally ONE MINUTE before the deadline) :) With Tepper, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the order of their decisions / application review.

Whew! You just helped me breathe a tiny sigh of relief. I also submitted my application at the last possible minute for the R3 deadline. I have been driving myself crazy wondering why I haven't been contacted for an interview yet, and if it's a sign to begin to consider defeat. I guess I'll try to hold out and be patient for a few more weeks before stressing myself out any further.

Got a question to R3 applicants who are admitted(according to the stat in this thread)....

When were you notified?
I didn't know that they let the applicants know their results prior to a final decision date(which is Apr 30 for R3)

I have the same question. In my interview, I asked them whether i'll have to wait all the way till Apr 30th for a decision and they said they don't release decisions prior to that.

Yeah from my experience along with everything I've read and heard the Tepper adcom seems to be very much by the book. R2 decisions went out after 5:00 pm on the notification date so I'm guessing the same will happen for R3.

The email we got today said casual, and dressy (slack/jacket) for the kickoff event. I would assume you won't need a tie, but us Californians are also every casual :)

Surprised there hasn't been more activity on this thread about WW, I'm looking forward to it!
