Just got mine in as well. Still need to get one reference in though. Did anyone else notice that they don't accept Visa card? I had to mail a check today.
I'm in Dallas, and there was a line of Texas fans at the bar accross from my office before noon today. Looks like the weather will be nice for the game.

I know this is completely different from the school being a good fit, but Austin is an excellent place to spend 2 years. The weather is tolerable year round, and there is plenty to do while you are not in class. You can find a very nice apartment for cheap if you are willing to commute a few miles.

The school location was a important factor in my school selection. I didn't want to live in a big city like NYC or Chicago, and I didn't want to live in the North (live there for 2 years, it's just too cold, especially since the academic year is going to be mostly cold and gloomy.)
How is everyone handling the optional section of the application where it asks to list other graduate institutions to which you are applying? I hesitate to fill this section in.

I struggled with the same thing, and I eventually listed mine. I thought my possibility of getting scholarship money might be higher if I listed several other competitive programs.

Where is this section? I don't even see an optional section.

I didn't see the part about other schools that you are applying to, so I didn't fill it out. Guess mine is submitted without that information.

My application is officially submitted as of today (10/26). I actually submitted the app a few weeks back, but my recommenders just turned in my recs today. Status on Texas website says received all materials.
