Hey everyone, I just had my interview on campus and here's a quick report to help relieve some anxiety of those interviewing soon + the waiting hopefuls:
Earlier reports from last year's interviews were very accurate for my interview (
https://blog.clearadmit.com/category/int ... -anderson/). The demeanor of the interviewer, overall atmosphere, and questions were by and large the same.
Interviewer was a second year student. Cordial. Relaxed. Gave feedback throughout responses. Felt like a conversation except for the intermittent pauses where he jotted down notes. None of the questions caught me off guard. If you review the questions from the above link, you'll be set. Remember to have specific examples in mind as you prepare. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. This includes about 5-10 minutes at the end to ask any questions. We talked about life at UCLA and what his path was going forward, because that's what I wanted to know. I feel pretty confident but who knows what metrics were being used to gauge how this went. Now it's just a waiting game.
Hope this helps and good luck to everyone, whether you are waiting to interview or for a response. Let me know if you have any questions.
