Good luck to those still in for R1....
I know it's still a bit early, but any idea when interview invites will go out for R2? Does Anderson release a bunch at once or trickle out over time? Any insight is appreciated!

If you check the first post, it looks like R1 interviews trickled out, starting about 4 weeks after the due date of Oct 14 (11/13), all the way through December 2nd. 2nd week of February will be a very anxious time. Does anyone have any knowledge of Round 1 Waitlist odds? I know its completely up in the air but the only knowledge I have is that UCLA's yield for previous years was around 48%. So is being WL at LA hope or?

To those have been admitted, have you already submitted your official transcripts? If so, how long did it take for your status to get updated on Apply Yourself?

The impression I get is that UCLA rarely dings somebody after interview, they just place them either in admit pool or waitlist pool. Have any of you sent email expressing your continued interest in the program.

Have any of you sent email expressing your continued interest in the program. I was on the waitlist last year and can understand how frustrating it can be. Especially when the adcom says that they don't accept additional informational updates other than scores. I also don't think they put everyone on the waitlist. I remember quite a few dings from last year. Having said that, I was on the waitlist for quite a long time. Applied for R2 and was on the WL till July.

Yes, I was a re-applicant from last year. Good luck with your application. My interview was with an alum and was held over breakfast! It was pretty conversational and no puzzling questions. Just ensure you have the answers to all the basic MBA interview questions. Ensure you have a very clear thought process while delivering your answers. Your interviewer is also notified about your admission. I sent him a thank you email after I received my admit and he replied back with this feedback: "it was your achievements till date and your clear thinking that enabled you to get this." So remember to re-iterate all your significant accomplishments and tie them in with your past experiences and how they have shaped your future goals. Hope this helps.
