I ended up not applying to Emory, and my app was pushed back to Rd. 1 at UNC (waitlisted, I had applied early action). Anxiously awaiting February 8th.

I see that you're applying to UNC and UVA.
Good luck with both! Maybe we can both join the KFBS for 2010.
Could you share your experience during the interview?
Thanks,

How did your recommenders submit their letters of recommendation? Supposedly my recommenders never received an email with login details even though I added them a while ago. What are the options to send in a LOR?

What are the options to send in a LOR? They can do it online or mail it in hard copy. The forms for the recommendation to be mailed in are in the application itself.

That would be great. The interview was pretty laid-back. It was just a casual conversation, you went over your resume with them and then talked about your experiences, and what you hoped to get out of KF.

Just got the interview invite as well. I applied for the Jan 8 deadline am very excited, loved everything about KF. I already went for a campus visit, do you guys think its necessary to go back to campus for an interview? I read someone's reply that 90% of applicants get an interview, that can't be right? What would be the point of even having invite only interview?

I'm pretty sure that all of accepted applicants do interview. Unless you're international, I would absolutely go back to campus and interview if you want to go to KF!

And if the GC's stats are correct, 13/14 people applying for R2 were invited for interivews, well over 90%.

Does anybody have the option for an off-campus interview in their online tool? I only have on-campus and phone interview as options. I'd prefer an in-person interview without flying across the country.

Thank you! Honestly, it is just like everyone said - very straight forward. Know "Why Carolina," your resume, and what your goals are. Really as simple as that. My interview lasted a 1/2 hour, which wasn't by mistake. I was told by one second year that during his interview the interviewer literally used a 30 minute timer. As a result, you have to be pretty clear in "telling your story." Thanks Drew -- That's helpful... Best of luck!

I just got an e-mail from Kenan-Flagler about the decisions being emailed out on February 8th by 5pm and asking for updated address information. I didn't get this when I was waitlisted in Early Action, I'm hoping it's a good sign!

In my heart I believe you are right (UNC is my top choice), but my brain tells me that everyone gets the announcement.

I got it as well, and I'm guessing everyone gets it, otherwise I'd be doing backflips on my desk because I got accepted.
