Apparently a huge windstorm is knocking out power to much of the LA area. Here is to hoping that things are back up and running tomorrow.

Yeah I work in Downtown LA and the power even completely knocked out all the traffic lights. They aren't even blinking red - they're just out. USC is pretty close to Downtown and I hear the storm was LA-wide, so there's definitely a chance it could screw up USC's servers.

That said, does anyone know what time they're supposed to send us the requests?

I thought they were gonna send out invites throughout the day.....I didn't know about the storm until now. I hope they're up and running.

I've not heard anything either. Looking at last year's thread the invites were sent at about 3pm PST.

I made a time zone gaffe. It looks like it was actually 2:50 PST, so closer to 3. Sorry!

I'm in for an invite, too. I highly recommend that anyone who goes to campus for the invite eat at a little drive through called "Chano's" and order the carne asada nachos or the mix-up burger.

You should probably do this before your interview so you're farting greasy Mexican food the entire time. But really, save Chanos for afterwards. It's delicious though.

Last year there were a few straggler interviews and a few waitlisted people got in, so you're definitely not out of the running yet.

Ok its 6pm PST and I haven't received a thing. I'm sure they close at 5, so I am not sure what's going on.....
