But b...h not as cool a school, no?

Your prayer is like wishing for something worse to happen; almost like saying "God, thank you for the wonderful luck I've felt today! Now please, if you be so kind, help me get a little less lucky next time!"

Wow, really? I'm speechless. It wasn't that I was implying that Wharton isn't a GREAT school; I just wanted to express my excitement over an invite. On the other hand, I also want to express my worries over the Booth invite (maybe not the appropriate forum, but surely that's not a crime eh?)

Anyways, I'm not sure if I offended you in any way, but I didn't mean what you had envisioned.

Hey guys, does anyone know what % of applicants got invite and what is approx. % of interviewers that get admitted. For example, 50% of all applicants got invite and out them 30% will get in. Any insight or theory in this regard?
Thank you...

I think the adcom's guidance last year was ~ 40 & 40 (40% invites, 40% acceptances)

I am also having technical problems selecting a city for alumni interviews. I hope this gets resolved soon!

Long time lurker but got really excited when I saw the invite. I didn't get an email at all yesterday so I logged in this morning - to my surprise, it wasn't a ding (like HBS...)

If the rate is 40% then that's not too too bad.

Hi,

I received an invite on Friday. I emailed an alum in my city for scheduling dates.

What is a reasonable time after which I should contact someone else if I dont hear back. Have others heard back immediately or soon enough?

I would say the newer grad will know more about Wharton currently and will be more helpful answerin your questions. The older alum will be a better interviewer.

I'm doing mine a bit later in the afternoon...have a friend in Philly I want to have dinner with plus it gives me time to go to a couple of classes and do a tour.

I'm going from NYC (going to do Amtrak, which has worked well in the past). Maybe I'll see you around the admissions office julianlee
