Does anyone have any insight as to how the 10 min one on one interview is weighted compared to the TBD / your overall application? Also, any insight as to how Wharton views alumni supplemental recs - as in a brief letter of support from a Wharton alum that was not your formal recommender? Finally, curious if anyone else's interview was more than the allotted 10 min - mine was a very quick 10 min and I felt that my interviewer was very strict with the process (and frankly a little cold!) - but my boyfriend (who interviewed the same day, with a different interviewer) had a very relaxed interview that went ~20-25 min.

Thanks!

Mine was worse! The interviewer tried to wrap things in about 8 mins. I said- if we have a min Can I highlight some key facts about my application?
And then we carried on till 10 mins mark :/

For those who applied and interviewed for R1, how are you doing on the waiting game? I am re-living the TBD day ever since the interview and cannot wait to simply find out!! Arghhh

Good luck guys! I know you guys must be tired of this waiting. May the force be with you all. If this helps, last year they started calling admits on the decision day....

While you wait, take a look at our recent analysis on chances of getting admitted after interview. Let us know your thoughts. chances-of-getting-admitted-after-an-interview-230246.html

I've heard that you can see a change in the application portal after they made a decision (ahead of the deadline)? Can someone verify, and what exactly should I be looking for?

Mine still shows as "ready for review" and "submitted" - as I'm pretty sure it has since I applied. Not sure if this is true?
