Looks like Yale is treating Gmatlubbers pretty harshly. We have much better admit rates at much better schools.
I thought long and hard before applying to them because of the "least international friendly" demographics, maybe that is the case. It's perceived (the whole schoole, not only SOM) as a "rich local kid club" around the country, maybe that is the case still..

I am a R2 applicant but R1 is not giving much promise....

Anyhow, I did my best, to hell with the rest of it....

Cheers

I'm not rich...They are looking for students from various backgrounds and not just "business people"...plus, it's a small class size so they have to be very selective.

short profile:

GMAT: 720, forgot raw, percentiles were V97% and M78%, and 5.5 in Writing
B.S. from Tepper
GPA: 3.1
Post-bacc GPA: 3.7
If matriculated in F'08, would be 60 months W/E.

Current WE:
Associate at a macroeconomic hedge fund. Joined 3 yrs ago when private, and has become a publicly traded company. Led many projects/teams there, teething issues/growing pains etc.

EC:
Captain of fund raising running team at hedge fund
Current volunteer at Conservation Society (had leadership roles back in college, but pulled back a bit due to work constraints)
Alumni Interviewer for Tepper UG

Think my GPA hurt and perhaps pulling back from the conservation efforts?

Just log in....

If you don't have an update online, then that could potentially be an admit because Bweek people are reporting admit calls.
