No, SOM essays are not out but they are bound to have an essay that lets you talk about yourself (every school has one )...

not bad !! not bad!!
yale seems to be one of the "not so popular" schools. Not bad!! That is what the initial idea was.
Maybe we can start some nasty rumor abt how applying to Yale will get you blacklisted from every other college .........in the world
*hahahahahaha*(evil maniac laughter)

When I see that Princeton doesn't even have an MBA program and that the MBA programs at Yale, Oxford and Cambridge are still so far behind that of Harvard and Stanford in terms of getting the love from the applicants, my heart cries a little

Yale SOM - No Longer offering No-co-signer Loan for Intn'ls
From Yale ~Adcom
Unfortunately we are no longer providing the GATE-Y loan, which international students could take out without a co-signer. At this time we have not yet replaced the GATE-Y loan.

No Co-signer options for Yale? [#permalink]
17 Aug 2007, 00:01
Are there ANY loan an international can take out at Yale without a co-signer? Maybe just for tuition and not the full living expense? I was under the impression that if you do not have a co-signer you can still get some loans that cover your tuition.
So is Yale saying that if you do not have a co-signer, do not bother applying if you need a loan? If that's so, that would be really bad for Yale since they'd be losing a lot of top students. Don't ALL the other schools offer at least a tuition loan without co-signer? (and FULL loan if you have a cosigner)

I was interested in Yale..but not anymore after learning that they don't offer any loans to internationals! Even if I come up with the money, I probably wouldn't apply anymore since I strongly doubt the quality of the school if they can't even arrange loans for or don't care about internationals.

Yale won the MBA fast money challenge. Good for them. I liked how the show promoted MBA's in general although I though the show focused more on knowing trivial knowledge than it focused on educational knowledge. Anyone could have competed well as long as they watched CNBC.

The final show was between Yale and U of Texas Mcombs. Most of the top schools were upset early on. But as mentioned before is was more about trivia than actual talent.

I was wondering the same thing. I also can find the deadline dates. If anyone knows them it would be a big help.
