I was there. I am pretty sure I met couple of Gclubbers, based on how they described themselves regarding where they are from, and what they do/did for living. :-D

I was there with my fiancee.
I took a fellow Gclub member's advice and decided to stay anonymous. :-D
I didn't ask anyone about GMATClub etc etc.

I actually did the same thing and did not bring up gmatclub, overall I was very impressed with the incoming class, and profs. I only wish Yale had better facilities

i actually liked the cozy environment of New Haven and gothic buildings. I attended a school in NYC for undergrad and I can appreciate a REAL college campus and setting.

New facilities probably won't be completed until after our class graduates.
It sucks but I am not going to SOM for nice buildings

I can't justify spending more money for another laptop when I'm already going into so much debt for bschool! lol! The tuition does seem high this year though, so perhaps the extra cost is for the laptop.

So...it's official.

Class of 2011 Laptop Program is a Dell e6400, preconfigured with our Yale SOM image. Specs: 3GB Memory, 160GB Harddrive, web camera, bluetooth, etc.

According to Jerz, it's a top of the line Latitude but it still SUCKSSSS!!!!

Also, you are gonna pay at least $1799 for Z series Vaio? It's 13.11 inches and still 3.4 pounds!!!

I own Vaio TT series and similar model is currently on sale for $1299.

Long story but it looks like I'll be able to get a decent discount on sony products. In regard to the TT I'm worried that both the 11.1 inch screen and the HD will be too small. I hope I'll be able to sell the Yale laptop for something between 600 - 700, and my old laptop for 400. The laptop will also be my CFA level III gift to myself
