I have an interview next week , can anyone share your experience on the Interview ? What kind of questions were asked...
I found the Baruch interview to be less structured than the other schools I interviewed with. The first question was a simple "Tell me about yourself." I never was asked any of those standard interview questions you prepare for like "name 3 qualities about yourself that demonstrate your leadership..." Instead I found the interview to be a lot more like a conversation in which we were discussing my future. Make sure you are prepared with your goals, and even research ahead of time some companies you'd like to work for and positions within those companies that you might want. And yes, he did read my application and my essays prior to meeting with me.
Well said demarius12. It was like a conversation on my future goals. My interviewer didn't read off a list of questions, instead he built upon my answers. I would building upon my resume and essay responses. It may help your future goals for during the mba studies and post-mba as the theme of your responses, but most importantly, just be yourself.
