For example, the first essay was definitely different. Given the word limit, it became harder to draft an excellent essay. But I believe, I gave my best shot.

Also, having 11 years of work experience, I could not fit in everything in the resume. And having a strong background in the volunteering, I could not find any place to demonstrate it. I did mention as much as I could under the interest section in CV. I have used up the additional question to highlight other aspects of my background that was necessary so I didn't have any space left to talk about my engagement with so many other non-profit organizations.

Hahha i have the same problem. I also have 11 years of work experience. If we both get admitted and attend, we'll be the old farts. :)

Hi Conrad, when should we expect to hear about the interview invitation decisions for R1? Would you mind sharing the number that you expect to admit from R1?

Thanks

It should not take more than 2 weeks. We don't have quotas by round so don't worry about your chances in one round vs another.

Any idea if Judge allows extra time for recommendations to be submitted for any particular round ?

@mn2010 Please email mba-enquiries@jbs.cam.ac.uk if your recommenders will be late in submitting your references.

Thanks.

Hello Conrad

I submitted my application on Nov 11th for the Round 2 deadline and was wondering if we should be expecting an application status update indicating if our application was complete and will be considered for Round 2 ?

Also, when should we expect to hear back from Adcom about interview shortlist ?

I see that for Round 1, it only took the Adcom 2 weeks to declare that results ? Can we expect a similar turn around time for this round ?

Thanks

@MN

We should send out the interview invites by end of next week, or early week after next.

Kind regards

Re: Cambridge Judge 2012 - Calling All Applicants [#permalink]
Dear Conrad

I am applying for Round 3 (Jan 6th deadline) and I also want to apply for the Gates Cambridge Scholarships. The deadline for the Gates Cambridge Scholarships is very soon (2nd of Dec), and I plan to meet this deadline. However, I want to wait until January to submit my MBA application because I plan to re-take my GMAT in Jan with hope of improving it. My GMAT score is now 730 (50Q 38V) but I hope to improve the Verbal score and achieve a more balanced score.

Would that be OK if I submit my Gates Cambridge Scholarships application now to meet its deadline but only submit my MBA application in January?

Thanks

Kevin

It should be fine so long as you send in the Gates application by 2nd Dec, and you apply by the January deadline.

All the best.

Hi,

I'd like to know if the questions asked in the peer recommendation are the same as the ones asked in the supervisor recommendation..

Thank you,
