Isn't it amazing how we over analyze the dumbest parts of this process.
an its amazing how some of us (ok me), under analyze stuff. I put in three four days an made a grand ppt. My girlfriend even pointed out the size, but I was all like ......naahhh, its cool.
Fortuneately I went to upload it day before, instead of waiting for the last day.....an voila - I find out my 19 MB PPT has now to be compressed to under 10 MB.

They will accept pdf format. I made mine in Apple too and transformed in pdf, I used the Keynotes (not the Neooffice) and everything is fine. The file has 500kb and I was able to upload it.
Do not let for the last time guys!
Good Luck all!

i didnt reference rhyme, even though he helped me a great deal. i didnt want to be grouped into the "kids rhyme helped" demographic, which is probably larger and more competitive than the Indian IT group

LOL. There are even some folks like me who belong to both the demographics. Talk about competition

I went to a rhyme and toured the b-school with rhyme so I needed to use him.
Thank god both my recs came through and I got the emails for that or I would be so friggin stressed right now. I am just converting everything to PDF and making sure it all looks right at this point.

So after much consideration I decided not to submit my 200 word extra portion to the PPT. I think my slides stand on their own very well and reading their notes on the subject it seems like thats the way they really prefer it.

Kwam I dont know if you went to a GSB live event but if the essays we read there are any indication of how strict they are I wouldn't worry about a little agreement issue. Mistakes will happen, I doubt anyone outside of a masters level english major with far too much time would submit a grammatically flawless essay.
