Waitlist for me, I think a weak phone interview may have tipped the scales for me. Based on last year's yield though, it might as well be a ding. If R2 app volume is flat or down, then there still might be a chance though.

I have to be honest - when I didn't receive the official "admit" email this morning, I freaked out a bit. I mean - after what happened at Kellogg last year with the "You are in! No, wait - now you are not" fiasco, I began to wonder if the admit call I received yesterday was a mistake. I already sent some 20 emails telling people I got in - haha. It's going to hard to "recall" all those! Then I logged onto the website, and the status does read "Admit" so I think I am ok.
But I am assuming other admits haven't received the official email yet, right?

has anyone who got admitted received an email with login details, etc?
Not yet...
me neither. on the call, they said an email with info will be sent today. nothing yet.
If I recall right, they said "decisions will go live early in the morning and then you will receive an email"...actually I never received an email with the notification of the status change...I just went to the system and saw it

Unfortunately, I was waitlisted for R1. Does anyone have any advice on what steps should be taken? Should I have letters of support written by Booth Alumni?

Does anyone have any color on how many ppl got in off the waitlist last year? I'm assuming that the odds of getting in off the waitlist are pretty slim given the number of people applying and the number of ppl on this message board waitlisted.

It all depends on their yield...but I don't think it's too far from a similar number than those accepted...
