Does anyone know if they release notifications all at once (like Wharton) or more on a rolling basis (like NYU)?

arg, it just so happened that one of my recommenders did not ever click submit. i never received an e-mail that my app was incomplete. luckily, i checked it last week and my recommender hit submit and all was well in the world. my app said all materials had to be in by march 7th to be considered for the 2nd round. so i made it with plenty of time.

Got this in am e-mail later thursday after my recommender hit the submit button...
"If your application is complete by March 7, we will make every effort to notify you of our decision by the second round notification deadline of March 25."

It's 7ish weeks from the application deadline, which is the same amount of time Wharton had between app deadlne and interview invite deadline.

i think it is the "initial notification" date (invite, WL, or ding).
i am wondering if the notifications are released over the next days and weeks, or the majority (or all) are released on one day...

i would think they'd make it clear that the Mar 28 date was for "interview notification" if that's what it was for. It could be, but if it is they don't make that clear on the website. I always thought that was the date of notification for admission.

it doesn't seem realistic to expect a final notification though (for admittance). even if invites went out tomorrow, that would mean that in 3.5 weeks we would have to schedule an interview, fly out, interview, then receive word. realistically, it would probably take 2-3 weeks after the interview to receive final word.

Hi everyone,
I applied as a Rnd2 applicant, but I still have not gotten an invite to interview. From what I understand, notifications go out on March 28th....so I am a bit worried about my chances at this point.
Any suggestions?

people on the BW forums have been talking about georgetown interviews being handed out in the last few weeks.
My application only went into the "Fully Recieved and Reviewable status" on March 3rd according to the website, so hopefully i hear something soon. BUt based on that info, i'm pretty sure that the 3/27 deadline is not for an interview. I guess also keep in mind that prior to Jan 1st interested students could schedule there own interviews, so theoretically a lot of interested students may have already had interviews conducted. At least, maybe that's what georgetown was thinking with regards to the condensed timeline.

I'm still awaiting my notification. They state that their notifications went out on Friday. I live 10 miles from Georgetown. I did not interview so I just want them to get it over with.
This could be a mail problem, but, if not, 175 bucks for a ding and being notified late?
Perhaps it's a waitlist.
I'll email them after tomorrow to ask if there's a problem.
