Hello everyone.
I'm currently in my second year studying IT at the University of Pune.
If I have the following profile, would I be a strong candidate for the MSc Grande Ecole course?
1. 62% aggregate (First class) from Uni Pune.
2. 700+ GMAT
3. 4-5 internships, at places like WHO, DSP blackrock, startups in my city
4. CFA Level 1
5. Professional level French (DELF Level 2-3)
6. Summer school at LSE (Grade A)
Would appreciate any help. Thank you!

Well because HEC Paris is my dream school, and I am really keen to get into the MSc Management Course. Therefore I wanted to make sure that I am a competitive candidate. Any suggestions as to how I can improve my chances?

Because:
1. I want to pursue a management course without a lot of work experience and thus MiM seems perfect for me. HEC is consistently ranked at the top in all the rankings that I've checked.
2. I like the course structure. You take all the required courses in the first year, do internships the second year and specialize in the third year.
3. HEC has good double degree collaborations. Eg: IIM-A from India, MIT Sloan.
4. I am learning french and I liked france when I visited it last year.

Graduated from l'Ecole Mohammadia D'Ingénieurs (leading Polytechnic school in Morocco and Africa) with a 14/20
Work Experience : Currently Business Analyst at Kea & Partners (French Consulting Firm), formerly ABM at Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive
GMAT : 750
Extracurricular : Tech Squad and Coaching Team Leader at ENACTUS, winner of 6 prizes and semi-finalist in the SIFE Morocco Competition in 2011, SIFE EMI Spokesman at the PNB-NAPEO Conference held in October 2011, founder of EMI-HORIZON, a school improvement program with a partnership with Edvantage.

Hi Guys,
I recently got selected in HEC Paris Grande Ecole program. I had a few queries regarding the program. It would be really helpful if you could answer them.
1. How are the job prospects after graduating from HEC?
2. Would it be a good decision to go to Paris, given the financial crisis in Europe?
3. Now that the Visa regulations have become more stringent, how difficult it has become to land up in a job (both in France and outside, say UK) ?
4. Is it easy to get internships in the gap year?
Kindly reply soon as I have only 3 days left for my confirmation deadline.
