Hi There

Also Fall 2012 applicant.

Profile: female, GMAT 700 (although, i focused too much on eating between breaks so I missed 7 minutes of my quant section, hahaha -- I think I could have scored higher if i hadn't done that)

12 WE in new media / design / technology

Education: has masters in economics from ivy school, was elected program chair.

Achievements: won innovation awards, written paper that was later used in a world bank conference, etc.

Extracurricular: I am a pretty mean cook. Art/Design.

Post-MBA focus: Mobile Technology innovation/foreign market penetration/entrepreneurship

Cool profile. Good thing about INSEAD is that the quant and verbal score should be balanced. If both of them are more than 70-75 you are good.

I am going through the essays......

Oh I haven't looked at the essays yet. I've started the essays for other schools though. Which other ones are you applying to?

My R1 are: Wharton, LBS, Oxford, Cambridge. I am debating if I want to add HEC Paris to R1 but I think it might be too ambitious to take on. :)

I am also thinking about LBS, Oxford and Cambridge. HEC and IESE are also in my list. But I am concerned about the language. Being in consulting, the first level of success is to integrate with the community. And if I were to work in France or Spain, I need to learn French or Spanish. I am contemplating on that.
