I submitted my application on the deadline day, October 22nd. On November 6th, I received an "Application Status" email from UCLA stating "Your application for admission to UCLA Anderson has been processed" and included my 12 digit ID.

I guess there's not much correlation with process date and review date. Mine was submitted 10/20 and processed 10/29 or thereabouts...

OMG!!!! I got an interview email just now!

Our admissions committee is now reviewing your MBA application, and we certainly like your profile on paper. So next we would like to speak with you in person.

Any idea which is better, ON campus with adcom/students or OFF campus? I'm not sure I can fly down to LA in the next 2 weeks due to work travel, and I don't want to delay their "rolling admissions" decisions if they happen to like me after the interview...

Congratulations! If you can't get down there, I wouldn't worry at all about it, Kryzak. Just do the interview with an alum... I"m so excited for you!!!

Hey, congrats!!!

You should definitely try to interview on campus. As I said to you the other day, I think the interview on-campus is important especially for you,so that you can convince UCLA that you are serious about attending there.

that is true, but I won't be able to go there till mid to late December, which will delay any decisions till even later... that's my concern.

Congrats Kry, knock'em dead on your interview.

Do they have a long winter breaks like some schools that makes interviewing on campus in the end of Dec and Jan difficult?

I think UCLA goes on break mid-December and comes back first week of January, but the R1 deadlines are around mid-Jan, so I should probably interview in the next week or two to be safe.

Kry, not a single invite posted on admissions411 and a flood of them on BW now, so you must be one of the first. That is usually a very good sign.

Thank you everyone. I guess i'll update my thing on admissions411. Saw a few more invites on BW.

I chose alumni/off-campus interview for now. Hopefully I can get one in during the next 2 weeks and *potentially* get a pre-Xmas decision (so I can either celebrate or work super hard on my Kellogg app :P ). Trying to get down to LA on a weekday in the next 2 weeks just ain't gonna happen with my work schedule/travel coming up. I'll just have to really connect with the alum and impress him/her.
