Guys, is there any overview brochure for UCLA? Can't find at http://www.anderson.ucla.edu anything but Anderson Plan 2007-2010. Is there anything more down-to-earth? :)

BTW, has anyone heard of any admits announced by UCLA this week? Next week they go on break until after the New Years. Red_s4, anyone?

No emails or phone calls from UCLA here. I was holding out hope and we still have 8 hours until they shut down for the holidays I guess, but I think we may all be hearing in January. Oh well...

nick: UCLA has a pretty terrible website, unfortunately, for such a great school. There really isn't much online for you to find. The best brochure is probably their paper one, which is actually pretty well done!

red_s4: Yeah, 5 more hours to go... still holding out hope for that email (admit or ding, I'd rather know early to see if I need to apply to a few more schools in R2 over the break).

cross your fingers!

Well looks like Santa came early! When I got off the plane this afternoon, I had an acceptance email from UCLA! :-D Such a relief going into the holidays to have one admit under my belt. Did anybody else hear today??

CONGRATS red_s4!!!

Yup, at 3:28pm, I got an email from UCLA with and ADMIT! Looks like we could be classmates sometime, or at least will meet at Days at Anderson!

Woohoo! this is the BEST Xmas gift ever! It still hasn't sunken in yet, but all of a sudden, all the "ifs" have become "whens" (instead of "if I go to B-school next year, I'll do this... )

Wow... this is such a strange feeling...

And I get to be the first one to congratulate you, kry!! May this be the first of many admits to come your way. Do tell us how you celebrate this news.

shopping, poker, shopping, poker, shopping, poker...

Thanks mNeo! I was wondering if anyone would notice since people usually don't check the UCLA thread (everyone's on the Kellogg/Chicago one lately). Haha. :P

Yeah, in Vegas right now, just got here. Didn't have internet after I got the decision until now, so just posted my results and stuff.

mNeo: Looks like the air in the bay area is making us all insomniacs.

kry, Amazing news. Many Congrats. Very well deserved. And I second mNeo. This should be the 1st of many admits that will come your way.

Congratulations! Now that you've turned the "big maybe" from Paul into an Admit, there is no reason the others won't work out for you!

Great job Kry, continuing the success gmatclubbers are having. Still pulling for Haas for ya, and of course Kellogg for R2.

Thanks everyone, again, it would not have happened without all of you! (group hug!)

But yes, there's still Haas, Kellogg, and of course, Stanford to fight for and disprove Paul! :)
