kryzak,

Too bad you can not wait until the weekend of April 20th when the west coast MBA schools converge on Stanford for C4C weekend, and you can see Haas get destroyed yet again =) Best of luck on the decision.

One piece of advice I would give you is to fully check out Kellogg. I remember A-Days last year, one of the people in the 1st year class brought a friend to the social event. I asked her if she was also planning to come to Anderson since she was admitted. Her response was "Um I got into Kellogg" like it was a no brainer. Suffice it to say, she made the decision blind and I have heard she is having mixed experiences. It is a great school, just make sure you continue to do you due diligence.

One extra data point for you. Evanston has a high of 39 degrees on Thursday, Westwood has a high of 72 on Thursday =)

hey socalconsult,

hahaha, I may ask for an extension from UCLA, if they give me one. Don't worry, I'm doing my due diligence, which is why I am not making a final decision until after DAK. I don't make decisions lightly, no matter the rankings, because I did my research ahead of time (before sending in an application), therefore every school that accepts me gets an fair chance from me.

I've done my homework on UCLA already, so now I'll have to see if they (UCLA) lets me do my homework on Haas and Kellogg or if they'll stick firm to the 4/4 date.

K

P.S. Yes, the weather is actually a big factor in my decision process.

What is supposed to happen with UCLA? I am sooo lost with this school. Tomorrow is the decision date and I haven't heard anything after the interview.. Do they ding candidates on the last date and that's that

UCLA is severely understaffed this year (only 2-3 adcoms to do the increased load of apps), so they actually have been notifying people after the deadline for R1... so until you get a ding, you still have a chance!

BTW, its funny to see so many people ponder the Chicago vs Ross decision on this and the Ross admit forum. By when do they want you to decide? If admitted, I will probably need lots of time to decide between Ross and UCLA.

OK here's the scoop...
I have to make a decision on UCLA by the 15th of April but no information has been shared regarding the scholarships.
Apparently the first round of scholarships for this year, was sent out in the week I interviewed. There is no official date on when these decisions will be sent out next, since it is supposed to be on a rolling basis.

I am currently in touch with the folks at UCLA trying to convince them to give me an answer on the $$either way. I hope they understand....They've been pretty helpful thus far so I am hopeful.... How was your interview today? ncprasad wrote: And kk, what do you mean by they want you to decide without$$ info? By when do they want you to decide? I thought the interview went well. Jessica Chung was very nice and created a nice cordial atmosphere. It was more a chat than an interview.

good luck NC! I'm sure you'll get in, and now UCLA is ranked 11!

May be this is a sign. Or may be not. Let's see. I am still evaluating what I should do. I almost wish I get dinged at UCLA so that I personally wont have to make that choice. Anyhow, a nice problem to have that should be put in perspective considering where we all started last fall with dreams of bagging an admit.

Thanks kryzak!

no they didn't mention anything about the scholarship in the email or the website.. I wonder about that. Do you happen to know how much the deposit is for Anderson?
