They are working day in and day out to send those cards before the holidays. I also 2 of those cards. Wish they put the same effort in deciding what to do with apps....

from what I know, rumor had it that only a small percentage (who knows, maybe 20-30%?) of applicants were admitted right before Xmas (meaning, tomorrow). The rest were admitted on the regular decision deadline date.

I also got two.... With the state that I'm in right now, couldn't help but think weather they've sent one card to all the "applicants" and one card to all the "admitted applicants"..... ... Yes I know - baseless allegations and "Idle mind, Devil's workshop" syndrome...... But just can't help the superstitions...... lol...........

Hmm...I am thinking that they got a new admissions director this year (from Wharton) so they might switch up the notifications like Wharton (everybody hears on the same day). But I would be very happy to find out today .

For the Finance guys -- I gotta say, this is really impressive. I never knew that Anderson had such prominent alumni. http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/x20526.xml

OK so I'm gonna freak everyone out with this, but a friend of a friend got accepted to Anderson last week. She's not someone I know well enough to ask about dates/specifics of her process, but I thought people would be interested to know that acceptances have started.

Unofficial GMATClub guidelines state that you have to tell us when you submitted your app, when you interviewed, and whether the acceptance was a phone call, e-mail, etc. - only then may you call your parents/family/friends to tell them the news.

Ha Ha... I have been following the Kelloggs thread on this forum often but not this one. I submitted my application on October 9, just before the deadline...Had my alum interview in first week of november.. Acceptance was an email (Since I am an international Applicant) rather 3 emails from different dept (Adcom , Financial and one more)

Turned my phone on after a flight and had a message and three emails with an acceptance to Anderson with a fellowship. Hope others get some good news as well.

Accepted at UCLA with a $20k scholarship! Very excited, the emails came around 11:27am PST this morning along with a call (to my house instead of cell phone?) but no complaint there, I am in!
There is a post somewhere from UCLA adcom saying that they have extended acceptances to only a small group today and will release the rest on the deadline so I don't think there is a need to worry for those that didn't get a call just yet. In all fairness I did apply about 2 weeks before the deadline for R1.
All the best guys, and happy holidays!
