Can I get through an admission to a MSF program this time? [#permalink] New post 16 Jan 2013, 06:17
I took the Gmat today and got only 580. Though I'm really upset with this score, I submitted my score to two schools, Boston and Northeastern, where I started my application to their MSF program. I'm wondering whether I should try to complete my application and submit it before the second round, February, or I should retake the Gmat and long for the last round. I feel very hopeless since the score range of the students at Boston is 770 - 800. My GPA is also not outstanding, only 3.27.

Please give me some advice on this situation

I would very much appreciate your thoughts on this :(

I think you should retake the GMAT and use all 5 options provided to submit your score. Your GPA is good, so if you keep the current GMAT result, it'll be quite regretful.

P/S: I'm not a consultant and don't have experience either. I am also applying for an MSF program this year.

Thank you for your comment. That means I will have to take the fourth exam, the process wasn't going easy for me. I don't mind taking more exam but I'm not sure if I can get, let's say, about 130 more scores in about 1 month, and my chance to get admission this year could be reduced if I miss two application rounds.

Anw thank you and wish you luck with your application to MSF program!
