can schools see to what programs I sent my score? [#permalink] New post 19 Jul 2012, 20:39
i have sent my score to different programs in many schools.

programs i sent my scores are mba and master of accounting. i have not yet been able to make a certain decision on which degree to pursue.

now i am also considering to get a master in information management.

if the list of schools i sent my scores is shown on my gmat score, i would assume that the schools will likely think that i have no clear goal since i have sent my score to many programs.

does anyone know if the list shows up on gmat score?

No, the schools will not know how many other programs or which ones you have sent your score report to, so there are no issues if you want to send it to 15 different ones (paying a pretty penny for it).

However, they always assume you will send to at least 5 since that's offered for free during the test.

I believe you are asking if different schools within one university will know that you are applying to different programs.

Am I right?

If so, then all the programs you mentioned are within the business school. I would assume that admission committee would be the same also for different programs within the business school. So, yes they will know that you are trying to different programs, but I don't think this should affect you. What is your resoning for selecting different programs. You can work on MBA where you focus in one or more of the areas you mentioned. It'll only take you longer to graduate ;-)
