I was having a discussion with a friend mine the other day and I used the term " wondering to worry ".

Just wanted to know whether this usage is right or not. He was sure that it's not correct.

Sorry for the stupid question though.

Hmm..

I dont think the grammar is incorrect
Its just like beginning to worry etc..

But meaning wise,
wondering whether to worry ...... would be okay.
Otherwise does it make any sense?
