Can someone tell me if this is correct?

This statement was taken from this thread. http://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... c&start=20

All A's are B's means All B's are A's

I dont not think it makes sense if A is a subset of B.

In essence it is saying...

All humans are mammals
therefore mammals are humans.

I agree it doesn't make sense. All A's are B's means that if something it A it is necessary that it is B. If something is B it is sufficient to be A.

Using the humans/mammals example:
If X is human then it must be a mammal. - necessary
If X is a mammal then it may be human- sufficient

On a side note, that's a great post...

It is the other way round...the first statement is sufficient and second is necessary.

All As are Bs.
Take an eg. All odd numbers are integers
but All Bs cant be As as all integers cant be odd.

yep, simple converse structure.

Conditional : A ==> B
Converse: B==> A

Not logically equivalent

No, consider
A={1,2,3}
B={1,2,3,4,5}
