Hi!
This is my profile so far:
1) Education:
Graduated from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Int'l Hospitality Management. The school is well reputed and is the first hotel school in the world that has pioneered this major. My GPA is average though.
2) Experience:
Was part of the opening team for a Hilton hotel and worked for 4 years and got my promotion from a sales executive to a sales manager. I made many achievements such as finding new accounts and made some of those accounts into our top 5 producing ones. In addition, my own annual rooms revenue production for the company has been above $ 4 million.
3) GMAT:
I haven't taken one yet but my goal is to score at least a 700
4) I speak english very fluently including arabic and not bad with my french.
If there are any other points that you would like to add to my attention which is valuable, i will be so grateful to learn about it.
Thanks
Tarek99,
If you get a 700 then I see no reason why you wouldn't have a respectable to solid chance at IMD. You seem to be a bit younger than IMD's average, IMD admits a very small class, and sales is a field that some B-schools don't favor. Given your industry and profession they may want proof that you can handle the quant side of B-school, and all schools value community involvements, which you didn't address. But the relative unusualness of your industry helps you stand out, and I'm guessing that you have a strong multicultural profile, so a 700+ should position you well for IMD.
Good luck!
