Please evaluate my profile for top 10 bschools in US. Would applying in Round 2 instead of Round 1 affect my application? I have this concern as I might be traveling for work during most Round 1 deadlines?

Thanks in advance

Hi pmanik525,

Thanks for posting. Your numbers indicate that you have the intellect and focus to thrive in a top tier MBA program. Nothing about your story makes me think there is any reason why you cannot be admitted, but nothing stands out telling me why you should be admitted. All of the reasons why a top program would admit you are in the details of your work experience, personal experiences, personality, values and overall story.

If you'd like, we provide free 30 minute consultations here: http://www.stacyblackman.com/contact/

For Round 1 vs Round 2, I recommend you apply when you feel your application is most ready. The only exception to this is I would avoid applying in the final round of applications.

Cheers,

Conrad and the Stacy Blackman Team

Hi,

You have good acads, GPA and GMAT score. This proves that your are good in academics. Your ECs seem to be fine. But what about headship qualities, awards/achievements at work place and post-MBA goals? You should have clarity on these while applying in top 10-15 b-school(s). However, if you can position well in application essays and interviews then you would stand a good chance in top b-school(s). You may try your chances in b-school(s) by clicking http://www.apphelp.co.in/b-school-selector.php.

You may target R-2 as equal weight-age is given to R-1 and R-2.

Let me know in case of further assistance. You may PM your details for discussion in length.

Regards
Erina
