Canadian vs US schools [#permalink] New post 18 May 2007, 09:17
As a Canadian, I am unsure whether to apply to US business schools. The top US schools are definitely more expensive than the top Canadian ones, and since I plan to work in Canada I am unsure whether having a US MBA is an advantage or disadvantage.

Any advice?

Canadian in the States [#permalink] New post 23 May 2007, 17:13
Well if you want to work in Canada, I suggest just staying and doing the MBA in Canada, it is alot of cheaper. Ivy and Rotman are very good schools and you'll be guaranteed good jobs in Canada.
I decided to go down to the States because I wanted to work down here, and take advantage of all the opportunities there are, and then eventually go back to Canada. However, studying in the States has been very expensive, and it's tough being international, even though we are Canadian. I ran into alot of obstacles getting loans and not being able to apply for jobs without a citizenship.
Good Luck with your applications!
