Total distance 2x

Time for 1st half = x/50
Time for 2nd half = x/60
total time =x*((1/50)+(1/60))=1/2 hour
x= (50*60)/(110*2)

Total distance = 2x
Total time = 1/2
Avrerage speed = 2x/(1/2)=4x
4x=(50*60*4)/(110*2)=(50*6*2)/11=600/11

t = d/s
h be half the distance
30mnts = 1/2 = h/50 +h/60
1/2 = 11h/300
h = 300/(11 x 2)
total distance = 300/11

so ave speed = total dis/tot time = 300/11x(1/2) = 600/11

The speed has to be less than 55 mph, so just I just quickly looked at the fraction and came to D.
