Career Advice/MBA: Current Teacher Debating Future Jobs [#permalink] New post 24 Nov 2012, 21:39
I'm a Teach For America alumnus and currently a 3rd year teacher. I've been offered a job to teach at a high-performing charter school next year, but I'm hesitant because I'm unsure whether teaching for another 2 years would improve my application to an MBA program. Would the experience of working in both a district and charter school play well to an MBA admissions committee as a future school/education leader? It does have the potential to lead to a principal position within 2 years. Or should I be looking to another industry altogether?
